#APOSTLEGATE lgbt Then Comes Q

With this truth as our foundation, the NAC-USA will provide a commitment prayer for LGBT couples who are entering into a lifelong, committed relationship, as we cannot perform weddings between same sex partners. This is in the interest of providing pastoral support to the couple at an important moment in their lives.

The minister prays that God grants the couple His help so they can begin the next phase of their journey together, encourage mutual support, share life experiences, and grow in their relationship with Christ.

The commitment prayer is meant to give strength and guidance to the couple in their love for one another and Jesus Christ. It is an experience that offers pastoral support to LGBT church members at this special time in their lives.

Some of the members of the New Apostolic Church have formed a Rainbow-NAC group for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) members who seek support and friendship. For those who would like to connect with the group, please email rainbow.nac.usa@gmail.com for more information.
